But what makes this season special are the relationships between the main characters’ parents, who are thrown together for the wedding celebrations. Leonard’s mom Beverly has never got along with Sheldon’s mom Mary. But when Beverly learns that her ex-husband will also be attending the nuptials, she’s not happy. Leonard’s dad Alfred is played by Judd Hirsch, who makes his debut in the series. He turns out to be a likeable guy. What’s more, he seems to hit it off with Sheldon’s mom ...
